Phil Beck

Phil Beck is a senior partner in the Atlanta office of Smith, Currie & Hancock. Phil’s practice has focused almost exclusively on construction law for his entire career. He has been with Smith Currie since 1981, after graduating from the University of Tennessee College of Law (where he received an MBA degree also) and completing a judicial clerkship with the Tennessee Court of Appeals. Phil has represented owners, developers, general contractors, construction managers, subcontractors, and other industry participants on virtually all types of construction projects and in a broad spectrum of dispute resolution forums. He has written and negotiated hundreds of design, construction, and consulting contracts as well.
