GCAA Eagle Awards Program
The Eagle Award has traditionally been given periodically to a deserving individual who has made a significant contribution to our industry, and was previously given at the annual Management Workshop.
GCAA is expanding on this program. Under the guidance of the Community Relations Committee, the award program will be expanded to acknowledge the notable efforts of individual quarry locations in three categories. We are instituting the Eagle Awards for Excellence in Environmental, Community Relations and Health and Safety. We will also continue with the Eagle Award for Individual Recognition. The award presentations will be made at the annual Midyear Meeting.

We hope that this awards program will be another incentive for all locations to strive for excellence in these vital categories. These areas in many ways define the view that our community has of our industry. Exceptional performance in these areas does create a positive image.
